About
A brief summary
Hi! I’m Sam, a proud father in my 30s and the founder of body open mind. I’ve always been curious, creative and active — from playing soccer, songwriting, and performing in a small band to exploring painting, Flamenco guitar, and piano. My love for learning has led me to two Master degrees in engineering, and later into the world of meditation, holistic coaching, and mind-body practices.
Why I became a Life Coach
A continuous Journey from Restlessness to Inner Peace
Even though I didn’t have a troubled childhood, I know what it feels like to be lost, restless, stuck and unable to engage in life. For much of my 20s and early 30s, I chased happiness outside of myself — through relationships, work, or even moving countries — only to feel unfulfilled and ‘not good enough’.
In 2019, I began working with a psychologist, exploring where these feelings came from. Alongside this, I dived into podcasts, books, and practices like journalling, yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. Step by step, I started shifting perspectives, finding balance, and showing more compassion in my relationships.
The real breakthrough came during a 10-day Vipassana retreat, meditating nine hours a day. For the first time, I experienced deep inner peace — not just happiness, but stillness, presence, and freedom. This experience gave me a profound understanding of the mind-body connection and inspired me to train as a holistic life coach and mind-body practitioner.
My journey isn’t about becoming “perfect” — I still get stressed, upset, or nervous. But I’ve learned how to free myself when I feel stuck, and how to return to awareness and compassion. That’s the gift I now share with others: guiding people toward a life that feels freer, more fulfilling, and more aligned.
